To have Weight Loss Surgery as a self funding patient you will need to pay the following fees:

Private Hospital Fee (~$13,500)
Bariatric Medical Practitioner Fee (certain patients only)
Other costs to consider:
Dietitian
Psychologist (certain patients only)
Pre-op VLCD diet
Multivitamins
Review by another specialist (e.g. cardiologist, endocrinologist - certain patients only)
Your Surgical Fee Includes:
Surgery performed by Bariatric Specialist Surgeon and Surgical Assistant
Bulk billed follow-up for 24 - 36 months
Before any procedure is booked, we will provide you with full financial consent outlining the Surgical Fee and estimated rebates.
All Surgical Fees are required to be paid in full 3 weeks before surgery.
It can take upto 2 months after the initial consultation to release funds from your superannuation account.
