Anaesthetic services are usually provided by Cairns Anaesthetic Group.

The fee for the anaesthetist is separate to the Surgical Fee. The Anaesthetist is a private contractor, and sets the fee that they charge for each procedure. The amounts mentioned below are a general indication only.

Before any procedure is booked, the anaesthetist will provide you with full financial consent outlining the estimated fee and estimated rebates.

Rebates will vary depending on your insurance status, your health status, and the length of the operation.

All anaesthetic fees are required to be paid directly to the anaesthetist before surgery.
